I dont know if this`s been discussed but is this because of diversification or because audi has the 5 which is quite equal to the 3 coupe; so can someone enlighten me if this is gonna be the next 3 coupe...cause if it is 3 is a better than 4...3 is odd

For some reason my brain refuses to like anything about this car until they reveal pricing. If the 4's are to 3's what series 6 are to the 5's ....ugh its gonna be painfull

Come on guys have a little faith...Seriously most of you need to read the post before commenting
Anyways i CANT wait until they reveal this baby. I mean when they revealed the f30 sedan i hated it at first but now it has truly grown on me to the point I would actually consider getting one. (Even though i dislike sedans and always prefer coupes). BMW <3333333333 |

Well....here is at least one e92 owner hoping the f32 is going to be my next car.
I'm sure the technical details like efficiency, safety, awesome features etc will be upgraded...so I'm hoping to a car that can really differentiate itself aesthetically too. I'm liking the idea of a fastback roofline at the back...though at this point I have no idea if that is what the car is going to look like. The camo really throws off the lines on the bottom of the car, and without the bumpers that will integrate the lights and kidney grilles, it's still hard to see the profile of the car. The one design detail that I don't like on the new cars that seems inevitable is the line in front of the hood. I like the way the current hood goes to the front of the car, and the line is not visible. However, I think it must be due to pedestrian safety, because every design seems to come out with this new higher bumper and the associate panel gap between it and the hood. "Slows" the lines done compared to how the current e92 hood flows into the bumper. Love all the spy pics and looking forward to seeing this in person! |

Are you sure it's really going to be a 4 series? I remember this same conversation prior to the e90 coming out, but the coupe ended up a 3 series after all.

I wonder why it always takes so long to introduce the coupe after the sedan. Same engines and basically the same chassis/underpinnings but with a coupe body, right? If so, why the hell will it take a year and a half to bring this to market? They just spent all the time developing and testing the F30, what makes this so radically different?

To me, since BMW just introduced the sedan, shouldn't the coupe come a year later, like late 2012, instead of 2013?

This should help those that think the sky is falling...the new one is a little bigger, but it isn't a boat or anything...
