I found the M sport wheel is way better looking than the performance wheels on the F30.

anyone else feel that the m-sport bumper should be the only bumper for the f30.. the rest are waaaay to busy with way to much going on.

yea I do agree with this- the regular sport line bumper has paint, black plastic, titanium colored plastic and shadow line painted plastic. add to that the funky plate frame and yea it's super convoluted

Yes. I've posted in the other F30 threads that, the current bumper looks OK but it looks like it's lacking (perhaps it's the middle part of the lower bumper that goes in). The M-Sport bumper looks more complete on the F30. If a third party makes a replica, I could see a lot of buyers getting them.

Ok, so now that M-Sport package has been defined, when do we expect the price of the package to become available?

Not really diggin the wheels.
They don't look "M" or "sport". Seems like something Lexus or Infiniti would put on one of their sedans. The optional 19's for the sport line 335i look sportier in comparison. BMW used to make great looking wheels, especially on "sport" models or special lines. Lately, BMW had failed. The black painted wheels on the sport line 328i look Pontiac like. What's up with the wheels designers over there? I too prefer a square tire size setup. It's great to be able to rotate tires and get longer life and even tire wear. The 225's all around are probably due to BMW fighting to get the most MPG they can. Thinner tires help that. Still, at least give the M sport and sport line models 235's all around simply for the cosmetic aspect. The 225's just look so freakin thin on a car this size. Car exterior is beautiful...
...still can't get over the steering wheel in that car though, if you put a 2011 M sport steering wheel in the interior of that car, you have yourself one beautiful car overall.

Mine is.
Don't think they're great at all, certainly not "M" worthy. Acceptable, is the word I'll use. Given the added cost for what amounts to cosmetics, I'd be happy to pay for cool sporty looking wheels. These look like a luxury Lexus wheel. Other than that very visible issue, the M sport looks very sweet. Last edited by RPM90; 03-07-2012 at 11:48 PM.. |

Someone mentioned the positive reviews about the 328i sport line that has been reviewed by pretty much every major publication.
The reviews I've read in car mags about the 328i sport line always seem to show the same red 328i sport as the testet model. But the wheels don't look like the standard black painted set that's on BMW's website. They are all silver painted, which look like the optional 19's that are ONLY available for the 335i, and those are staggered with 255's in the rear. So, these reviews we've read on the 328i sport could be using wider rubber than what we in the US will actually get. I'd like to read a clarification on this. Does the test car or cars being run around to car mags have a square 225 setup or a staggered 225/255 setup? If it's square 225, then why are they the wrong wheels? The test 328i cars could be a bit of a "ringer" with better rubber than we'll get. That would really tick me off if it's true, cause I want the real review on the actual tires we in the US will get. |

But if I'm not mistaken M-sport comes with staggered tires for both the 18s and 19s. |
