Looks good but will there be a coupe version? I'm of the firm belief that anything 'sport' and a sedan just don't fit together.

That would really tick me off if it's true, cause I want the real review on the actual tires we in the US will get.
The test car Edmunds used had the worst of the worst oem tyres for a car with a hint of sporting intention - Goodyear EfficientGrips. I think some other test cars used by other magazines also had those Goodyears.

Yeh I know man, even I'm waiting anxiously for the pricing of the M Sport on the 328i and the 335i...

The wait is really killing me now....

Looks great and I love that paint.

Should be a real hoot to drive, especially after a tune!

Did anyone get a chance to take a look at the gauges?
I really want to know if BMW has made up their mind yet which colour the stripes in the gauges will be on M-sport.

I think we know that NA versions won't get any stripe. I would hate to see a red stripe on European versions (like on Sport line), as all other accents are blue??

Thanks
C.

That's good to know south. Those are the only OEM 18's with 255 rear for the F30 right? Or maybe there are some 18" accessory or M Performance wheels that are 255 rear?

appearances, I love it. I personally think it's somewhat sheep in wolfs clothing for the 328i. Nothing bad about the 328, but really, M badges everywhere?

I will buy an M sport 335i for the front bumper alone....lets just hope I can conjure up the funds to get all the extra "M" goodies to make it that much more fun. I really think this is the only nose worth owning....I can see why 328 owners would want it for that nose...of course I'm sure there are some who will buy the "M sport" so they can tell themselves it's faster than all the other 328/335's around them. I just like the nose.

Until it's tuned. Then I'm sure we'll be seeing near 400hp 4 pot mutated sheep.

Suddenly want this instead of sport-line. But a couple of concerns:
1) originally was gonna go for 328i but looking this good is gonna raise spectator's expectations about the sound. 335i seems more like a natural fit for this body.
2) US models will be dinged with a bright orange side marker. why why why..
3) Brakes should have been 6 pistons instead of 4's in the front.. Still nice. think it would look sweet with yellow brakes..
That paint is noice..

1) The N20 will likely remain roughly the same for the next three plus years, but the N55 will likely get a bump in power soon. Of course if you plan on going aftermarket, who cares?
2) Aftermarket painted blanks will be relatively cheap soon
3) Why? I have six piston fronts on our 135i that don't feel any better than my old 1 piston sliders. I'll settle for functional four pistons over six pistons done for style.

Absolutely. I was purely speaking from an aesthetic perspective. If I were to choose this car over the 328i Sport (which I currently plan on getting), functionality is going completely out the door. I would be choosing it just for its looks. (well.. what added functionality is there to even discuss? it's probably several tens of pounds heavier too)

In my experiences 400hp 4 bangers have a very short 1/2 life. Not arguing w/ you on that part, but it is what it is...

For some reason, I was under the impression that the M-Sport wouldn't have the fog lamps. Has this changed? I hope so!

No, the US version will not have fog lights. ROW cars will. If past BMW history holds true, you will just need to buy the ROW parts and install, wiring should already be there, you'd just need the lights, trim pieces and interior switch.

Hate to be a hater ( ), but I just can't get on board with the F30's looks, even in M-Sport guise. I was hoping this package would solve my feeling of underwhelmed-edness (that's a word, google it), but it doesn't -- at least not from these pics. Hood and trunklid both bug me, the interior does nothing for me, and in general it's missing that certain "I don't know what" that gets the pulse going when I see an E90 M-Sport.

There's another one (style 398) which isn't available in the US, though.

Best regards,
south
