That paint is noice..
You should have a look at the M Performance Brakes then. They're available in yellow (see here).

The car is dream and the package perfect.
Still disappointed that they once again showed estroil blue instead of lets say black or mineral grey.
lets be honest: the colour is great but who the hell would REALLY buy it.
its just too flashy and a bit unpresentable imo...

As someone with a British city as a user name, and a Germany listed as their location, I'm surprised at this. I've noticed that generally, the more rain and gloom a place gets, the more likely people are to buy brighter colored cars. I've lived in Frankfurt, Dallas, London and Southern California and find that sunny places tend to have lots of black, white and silver cars, and less sunny places are where I see fun colors.

My old car was Imola Red, and I'll likely get Estoril on an F31, so I like to buck my observed trend.

Hood and trunklid both bug me, the interior does nothing for me, and in general it's missing that certain "I don't know what" that gets the pulse going when I see an E90 M-Sport.

It's natural when you have the previous generation. It's called post-decision dissonance.

Yes, exactly. 2013 model year starts as of July production.

That's silly, when I could go and buy an F30 tomorrow. My wife's in the market for a replacement to her E46 this year... I am looking at the F30 and want SO badly to like it. The reviews of the driving experience are all gushing, so I guess I should go drive one... the looks aren't doing it for me.

To be honest, I hated the Pre-LCI E90 also. So maybe I'll get tWife a matching LCI E90 and we'll roll in these until the F30 is facelifted.

Saw the car today. It looks quite good, especially the front. But didn't like the rear at all, it's too square and the diffusor is not high enough. The wheels look more like 18s than 19s, the inside parts are way too dark and the edges are too sharp.

But nice car overall. Forgot to make pics of the interior, but it looks the same like on the other already presented pics.

Oh and it really had 225 wheels on the rear. I asked a girl about that, she started laughing because I wasn't the first with that question. They've made a mistake and brought only 4 front wheels.

Maybe I'm shallow and a bad BMW enthusiast, but I still can't stand the steering wheel...

I love these pics! If you want to get the F30, please go for the M Sport! Absolutely stunning!

...oh and get it in Estoril Blue!!!

I agree. It still looks good but the M-Sport seems to do the reverse of what the base F30 does. The front is filled out perfectly, looks like a BMW now, but now the rear too boxy and would've looked better with a higher/larger diffuser. With the base F30, the front was lacking and the rear was good.

Is that for all the lines or just M sport ? I am ready to order a car but I want a 2013 model year so I would like to know when they will actually build 2013 cars for US mkt.

Still waiting for M sport pricing and my butt is getting sore sitting on the fence.

2013 model year starts in July for all lines, M Sport, and base. All F30s.

European model will have fog lights. US version will not have fog lights in order to have better cooling, per http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=637828

"For improved race capability. We need the air intakes for air. That’s why the fog lights are out. Because you have more driving on the racetracks than in Europe and you have different climate zones (some places are hotter). European models will keep their fog lights."

seems silly. i doubt most M Sport owners will be taking their car to a track very often.

Will it still be possible to get M-sport alone on a stripper 328i or 335i? Or are they going to make people get the premium package along with it. Hopefully it isn't like the X3!

UGH. Those are even worse!

I do not like this black paint theme at all.

I was originally commenting on the wheels that are in the picture at the beginning of this thread.
