Should not be a problem, unless you have a manually adjustable seat

That didn’t last very long! Just got done driving it and this no longer works! Went back and checked all the settings and they have remained the same. The seat will just not go back when the door is opened like it used to! Tried recoding it to no avail. Any suggestions appreciated.

Bummer! Two suggestions - make sure that the 'return seat to previous position's checkbox is checked under the profile you are using and/or try a smaller value for the SCHUTZFREIRAUM parameter.

Thanks. Tried to put it back to 32 and then tried 28 but neither had any effect. Seems like I’ve lost the ability to save anything to the drivers seat! Tried to use the memory position that I had previously used and it’s been wiped out and cannot get it to reset! But, I’m getting no error codes either

My 435i was coded on 11/29 by the dealership. It erased all of my custom coding, luckily I had a list of what I did. I discovered the the update changed the options for the easy access. The options under 3012 moved to 3015. They now need to be the following:

3000 EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE set to:Modus_FA_SLV
3015 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS werte = 00, 3C
3015 EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS werte = 00, 32

What module are these settings located in? I checked driver seat module and FEM. Couldn't find any of these settings in expert mode.

I can easily code by using bimmer code at “Seat Module Driver”

In the latest Bimmercode you don’t have to mess with Expert mode anymore for Easy Access coding, or worry about section 3012 or 3015. They’ve exposed the Seat Module driver directly now. Easy peasy…

Hi, do you know any option not to stop moving the seat when a gear is selected? I usually select D faster than seat movement finalized.
Thank you
J.

I doubt it, I'm sure it is a safety issue. BMW would not want a seat moving by itself while in drive. Probably only allow manual adjustments by a person.
