Exclamation NewTIS shut down: offline BMW TIS for F30?

Not sure to say more. I'm in the midst of a massive project. I've been saving tons of stuff offline for this very reason, but the day has come. Anyone have any ideas where to get an offline version of BMWTIS that supports F30?

I tried to register. I followed the confirmation email link, it asked me for my username and password. How could I provide a username and password when I hadn't created one? That's as far as I got.

I have the link that was emailed to me. It's no longer functional anyway. He could be looking at a big payday down the road. BMWs action violates right to repair laws in multiple states and countries, and unless he was showing text and photos that BMW holds copyright to they have no legal basis for their demand. I doubt we've seen the last of this by any means.

Yes, I just read that the new link is now already down too because of too many registrations.

You register at NewTIS? On my end, it says "Site Closed

This site is closed per demands of BMW AG" with no option for registration. Interested in developments. Perhaps it was removed from over registrations.

But as i said this link doesn't work anymore.
But the site itself still works. Anyone who was able to register in the last 2-3 days can still use it.
Maybe you can try to contact the website owner and ask him...

shot them a message. Really hope this isn't the end! Or at least an offline version can be found. Thankfully I began locally archiving my most commonly visited pages.

I thought all this information was available on Ista?

I checked today and I have the manuals just no images which isn't helpful. Maybe my install is missing it?

Very sad day for BMW enthusiasts, not sure I'll own another if I'm unable to work on them myself going forward.

Please let us know if you have any luck with submitting a question.

Also, anyone tried the BMWtis? I looked at the prices and thought this must be for garages not DIYer as it's a massive con for an individual

Totally agree. It's saved my bacon and wallet many times.
I really hope we can get access again.

Yeah I'm not sure my ISTA is working. This is what it looks like.

Do you know where to download the latest version? The one I downloaded was a mess to install and the Ista P never loaded either and always gave a error message.

Thanks

Maybe it's enough to install a current NetFramework or Java.

Otherwise, I have a link to the current version. I'll send it to you later, because I first have to sort out the things you won't need and would otherwise download unnecessarily.

If you have a link for one that works for you, I can uninstall/ delete the files and start again.

Looking at the Ista guide I installed 4.10. Think I've send online there's a 4.30?
