please guys i need help
i have f30 2014 with cic hu with 6.6 screen
i upgrade my screen to 8.8 and it showing me after the upgrade no signal
i didnt found any comand in cic hu that showing resolution coding
please help

Are you sure you have a CIC headunit?

yes i am sure when i enter to bimmer code it showing me in the top cic_hu
and i checked in the internet all the cooding for resolution is for nbt model
and when i entered to mine i didnt found and command of it

it is not possible to change the 6.6" screen to the 8.8" screen on that headunit, it is a HU_CHAMP, not a CIC on F series models made in 2014

I think I understand now - you want to change the standard screen to the one with the glass front?

Both of those are 6.5" screens, neither are 8.8"

That is the wrong screen for your headunit, that is for HU_ENTRYNAV, not HU_ENTRY or HU_CHAMP2, which is what you have.

yea, sure...

Buy a new headunit, or different screen, that screen won't ever work on your headunit.

I am trying to upgrade my F30 6.5 to 8.8 screen. I have the CiC but with Navigation.

https://integratedautomotive.co.uk/w...0menu%20screen. Based on this page, I should have a "hybrid" system that is not purely a CiC.

I tried plugging in the new screen and it says "No Signal" and the display is unstable and flickers. Do you think the coding might help? Thanks
