Push button not working 🤦🏽 Any advice appreciated...

🤦🏽

My 2017 430i had an intermittent electrical fault trying to start a few weeks back... I got it looked at by an auto electrician and he said he fixed a ground battery terminal issue.

In the process my map data somehow got corrupted but a minor inconvenience for now.

So after a few days of driving fine, I get in the car and press start and its totally dead. The head unit works, radio comes on but no cranking or attempting to start when i push the button... dead.

Tested the battery voltage which was around 16v and tested the key fob battery which was around 4v. Tried putting the fob close to the rack but nothing.

Any suggestions or advice would really be appreciated.

Phew... My son had flicked the kill switch / immobiliser when looking for something under the seat... I'd totally forgot about that switch... panic over!
