Looks like with Canadian33's help I got this sorted. My BMW Assist features on the iDrive are back including Internet, Concierge and Messages. When I checked this morning there were several messages on my iDrive with 6-digit codes. None worked but presume these had all timed out. After a few resends I got a working 6-digit code through Messages on the iDrive which was accepted on the app. Now says "Almost done ... Confirmation in progress". Hopefully no further glitches.

Hi, Mine is also 2014 MY 328XI, are you using remote services. If yes what packages you are subscribed on customer portal?

I renewed BMW Connected Drive Services Professional last March for a 3-year term. It cost $450 plus tax.

I haven't played around with the remote services on the new Connected app yet but I was able to register MY 2014 335 Xi on the new Connected portal, add the vehicle, receive the activation code in the car, and activate the new IOS App.

In the car, I'm now seeing all the usual Connected features like internet, concierge and messages that had previously disappeared. I'll play with the app more and check out the remote services, but things are looking as they should be so far.

Not sure why my features disappeared. I was worried my BMW might be one of the early 2014 F30s with 2gand not able to access BMW Assist, but it seems to be ok.

Actually never mind... Looks like my car is *too new* anyway, as for whatever reason only 07-2013 to 10-2015 vehicles are supported
