Don't use the stock BC SPRINGS imo. Upgrade to the swift linear springs.

What are the differences by upgrading to swift spring? I’m thinking about upgrading but not sure what are the benefits. Is it worth?

I actually ended up going with the DDC kit for my 335 with xdrive they are amazing!!!. the install took a long time because I ran all the wires but it was worth it. in comfort mode it is super soft. sport mode is perfect for daily driving and sport plus is only for smooth roads.

Do the bc coilovers fronts come pre assembled ? With strut nut torqued properly to the camber plates?

Yes, but always a good idea to re-torque as this is one of the more common reasons for coilover noise...

I just installed a very lightly used set of BC's off an M2 (model I-46) last weekend, only difference is the spring rates are 7k Front vs. 8k, so far I'm pleasantly surprised at the ride quality around town. No clunks or rattles (yet!) but there is definitely some more road noise compared to just Dinan springs on stock struts...thinking an alignment may help.

Just installed my BC Coils as well. BS Series. Set pretty stiff but great for the wide wheel set up. Not my DD so i can deal with it. No complaints here! Quality parts. Smooth Ride for sure.

Hmm, that makes me wonder if f80/f82 coilovers would fit as long as they are 3 bolt. Do you know anything about that because I believe some M2 owners run f80 coils

I'm not sure tbh, but the m2 has the n55 so maybe reuses more parts? Wouldn't surprise me though..

I can't remember how many click settings there are in the BCs...so are 10 clicks from full stiff in the front and 15 from full stiff in the rear?

You should be stiffer in the back than in the front. The number of clicks will also depend on the spring rates you are running and your application ie. street, track, drift, shownshine, impress the ladies, etc...

Good day all,

Apologies for reviving an old thread, but wanted to get some input from those that have been running BC Coilovers long-term. Has anyone had any issues or regrets? I plan on purchasing a set for my 340i. It's strictly just a daily driver, no tracking or canyon runs, with an occasional pull here and there whenever there isn't any traffic. Is it a decent upgrade from stock suspension?

Apologies for my ignorance, I got the car a little over a year ago, and it was my introduction into the car scene, so my knowledge is lacking.

Thanks for the help in advance!

They ride pretty rough and are noisy. Have them on my Honda. KW street comfort would be a better option. BCs are also pretty harsh imo.

Good to know! I actually did end up deciding to go with the KW coilovers, specifically the KW V1s though vice the street comforts.
