DTC 252500 error code - Pressure Converter, turbine control flap

Error code: 252500 - Pressure Converter, turbine control flap, activation: Open Circuit (Status: Permanent)

That comes from an "Autel diagnostic tool"...
I just ran bimmerlink in my car to see what it picks up (not that i understand any of it!) (pic uploaded)
For ref, a month after the recall, and i had the 1st drivetrain error, i got Bimmerlink and did a scan, exported the results, so looking at the 2 errors, it showed: (end of October)
252500: Boost pressure actuator, control: interruption
244C00: Boost pressure control, control deviation: boost pressure too low / positive control
deviation

Car: F30 335d Lci

Sooooooooo....
Car is stuck in Limp mode, with error on startup saying "Drivetrain"
Possible to continue journey / Full performance not available

Have been reading, and am still reading posts about this scenario, with stuff pointing to Actuators, turbo's and all that stuff....

What am hoping you guys can help with is:
Who can i take it to for a fix, i'm South West (Gloucester / Bristol)
I dont know if i need to buy a lot of new parts, or sensors, or actuators, etc etc ......

Wondering if anyone else come across this issue, and bought a bunch of parts to swap out (even if bought parts that weren't needed)......
Trying to get myself into a position so i can buy whats needed, then approach a garage who knows how to fix, etc etc,

I wont entertain BMW cotswold,
as my gut feeling this has all stemmed from them a few months ago (EGR recall, smoke filled cabin when i left the dealer, finding out they wiped my ECU map when i said not to touch the ecu, and short lived drivetrain error's few weeks after that recall, to which is now permanent error)

Hey guys,
I done a fair bit of reading on here and other sites, looking at the E90 335d setup, along with F30 335d......

If i were to make a best guess judgement, it looks as though the "Pressure Converter" could have finally just given in. (aka: Turbo actuator on the main unit )

What i also read is, its a ballache job to get to, so not all garages / bmw specialists want to do the job as its a headache job....

Although i am in the South West (Gloucestershire), i dont a long drive and catching train home to get the work done.
Finding a place to do the work seems the hardest part so far.
Spoke to 1 specialist, and although he was happy with the info provided, did say its not the type of job he wants to undertake (fair enough).....

Any recommendations welcome for who i can approach for supply and fit of:
Pressure Converter & Vacuum pressure control valve (replace both to be on safe side)

Personally I think your approach is all wrong

You'll tell a garage to replace parts. If it doesn't fix the problem then you've wasted your money (although you might be lucky)

You need to get a proper diagnosis of the fault, despite the error code pointing to particular components it might not be the root cause. It could be a wiring fault, a vacuum leak or something else

Diagnostics are not foolproof, you should always try and verify seperately that you really understand what the fault is otherwise you're just loading up the parts cannon and hoping for the best

duly noted....
Have managed to strike a deal with a garage (few hours ago) who carried out the same task a few weeks ago on a 435d.
It was the actuator failed on the pressure converter he said stopping the main turbo spooling up....

I've said its on my back if it fails what i am asking them to do, but i did say to replace the vacuum pressure control valve, along with the hoses, seeing as that part of the engine will be open, to which they get there parts from BMW..

Fingers crossed, it wont fail, as the more i looked into this, the more i found several posting on forums that the pressure converter is the main culprit, but its a pain in the ass to get to....

** Update:

Car went in today, had genuine parts to fit, (boost actuator / Pressure Converters)
paid the bill, drove out, car feels normal again, got the oooomph!.

What i learned ?
Garages dont like me going to them with my own researched diagnosis, and asking for a specific fix....
guess they technically lose out when a customer knows what there talking about.....

Garage i went to, (Pritchards in Gloucester), in all fairness, listened from the start, and did what i asked... and charged £354 total for the fix including parts from BMW.

1 problem fixed, am sure another will pop up soon....
