M Performance Aerodynamic Kit Installation Costs from Dealer

All,

I'm hoping you can help me. If you got the M Performance Aerodynamic kit installed from the dealer, what was the charge?

I'm hoping to get the front splitter, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, side sills, and kidney grills installed from purchase.

Installation from dealer seems pretty steep right now...

Thanks in advance.

Don't know how much they'll charge but most of its easy to do yourself, and quick.
5-10 mins for spoiler
5 mins for grilles
1 hour ish for splitter
10 mins for diffuser
ain't done sills yet but only 11 screws and 17 rivets in each I think, also called at vinyl sign fitter about side vinyls £30 to fit he said. Asked him because body shop man said they're easy to f#@k up! and at £100 ish £30 is peanuts!
I would think that most people on here would help you if you were struggling

I was going to do the kidney grills myself. But the rest of the parts I would have preferred if they were put on from factory. I was getting a quote in excess of £1k for install...!

For my local dealer to supply everything apart from the grills as I have those already, paint the sills, diffuser and splitter gloss black with eb slats on the splitter and to fit they wanted £2600. I though it was pretty steep as the whole kit is 1300 on the BMW website until September the last time I looked.

I know it doesn't include labour or painting but I still think £1300 is excessive for all that needs painted and fitted. That £2600 wasn't including the grills either as I already have those. I'm not sold on the exhaust either, I think the standard one looks better.

Thanks. I just got off the phone to them just a few minutes ago and he has given me a great price for the kit delivered. Almost half the price of what I was originally quoted... Thanks to everyone that helped. I'm planning on ordering and getting it painted/installed locally.

Also note that this does not include the diffuser either which adds approximately £200, so you're looking at around £1,500 based on the website. Cotswolds is the way to go - the full kit is £1,000 for a matte black diffuser too. If you went carbon on the diffuser it's £1,100.

Any chance you could pm me a figure for what they are charging delivered mate?

I'll give them a shout, posting to N.Ireland might be steep but at least it will give me something to go to my local dealer with if all else fails.

Is the 330d xdrive F31 different to the 335d, it isn't on the list of models for the kit?

Phil at cotswold was checking parts while I was on the phone to him so he would be the best person to ask. I doubt there are any differences but he can clarify. Good luck!

Sorry for all the questions mate, which Cotswold did you phone, there are three to choose from? Might as well stick to the one that you used.

Unlucky mate. I was about to go down the same route so I feel for you - although I wasn't quoted that much.

Did that include fitting?

Just checked my invoice- £2149 all in, including painted spoiler (they refused to paint the other bits but I quite like them black after all).

I did steal 3 cans of coke when I bought it though so I guess that takes it down to £2147.50p.

No it will be the same. Same front bumper and skirts and same diffuser as the exhaust is the same outlet type (eg twin left side).
