Kern I feel like you and I have once discussed this topic of spraying ethanol. I remember a thread on N54tech discussing spraying X98 instead of M1 and making more power. I know lots of people are running ignite in tank, but any benefits to spraying it?

Yes but you could easily tune within the stock system's capability until you're ready to turn it up.

It is an extremely viable option, just not popular on our platform. It has been common to built completely aux systems with race gas for example, and that way it only sprays when necessary but you can daily drive on 93. It just depends on your goals, budget, etc.

Mainly what I said above. Separating it from the factory fuel system puts less strain on it and also helps preserve the supply. When you're paying $8+ per gallon it's nice to only inject it when necessary. Regarding M1 vs ethanol, it's kind of like the BM3 vs MHD discussion. Different people have better luck with different fuels. I'd just get whatever is readily available to you. I have a friend that just buys alcohol from a local hardware store and uses it for meth with great results. But race gas is highly regulated and will perform great compared to how some of the guys in europe found a "bad batch" of bioethanol that was ruining peoples fuel pumps.

kern417 So if I were to use injectors to spray methanol I know I would still need to get a meth tank and pump and a fuel injector controller (im eyeing the Motiv Reflex but not sure if it will sync with BM3). My question to you is, what kind of line would you run from the meth pump to the port injection kit. Would you still use nylon/ptfe to connect the pump to the port injection kit?

just make sure everything is rated for meth use. and keep those fittings in a place that's accessible in case they leak
