Moreover, the parameters in DSC module ( C_funktion_RDCi_I; C_Funktion_RPA_e and C_RPA_Extra) and FEM (RC_RDC_Enable) are not present. Any guess what could be the reason? |

The sensors together with the antenna are different from the sensors without antenna. Which part number has the antenna you have now installed? If it has one of these part numbers.... 36106871056 36106872026 36106872027 36106875773 36106876227 36106881474 you can use the sensors with these part numbers... 36106890064 36106798872 36106856227 Your car has no FEM, so you don't need to search for FEM (RC_RDC_Enable). |

I have done the following for installation.
1. Added 2VB in SALAPA 2. Injected CAFD file in RDC through ESys 3.34 (with PSDZ lite) 3. FDL coded the following: a. HU_Entrynav b. ICM c. DKombi I am not clear why the parameters in DSC module ( C_funktion_RDCi_I; C_Funktion_RPA_e and C_RPA_Extra) are missing. Am I doing something wrong/ incomplete? But your sensors 6855539 are still wrong and do not match the car/module/antenna. For the coding you should not FDL code, because the FDL codings are different for the cars (depends on the model and built year), that's the reason why you don't find some coding values. To be 100% sure for the codings you should VO code the car. So add the 2VB to the salapa element and save this FA/VO. Then load this FA/VO and code (button "Code") the DSC, ICMQL, HU_Entrynav and DKombi. But as I said - you need other sensors first. |

I ran INPA and ISTA under the current setup, i.e. antenna 6857938 and tyre sensors 6855539 and I am posting the results in the attached screenshots.
Do any of these make any sense in trouble-shooting? |

But the sensor values are transmitted via the control unit? I don't understand. Do you see the antenna in ISTA? |

Hi Maybe you guys could help me out coding my tpms back on again.
The story short. In April last Year i VO coded my TMPS sensors off by erasing 2VB and vo coded DSC, HU_ENTRYNAV, ICM and KOMBI (thinks its BKOMBI) Using "F30 F20 Code Out Tpms back to RPA or RFA" - Guide Now i want to enable my TPMS sensors again. I havent pulled any fuses when i disabled the TPMS. My car have had a complete software upgrade since and has got a tune. Today i have tried using "F30 F20 Code Out Tpms back to RPA or RFA" - Guide Reverting back trying just to add 2VB to the vehicles ecu's DSC, ICM, HU and Bkombi. But i got these errors showing then trying to write 2VB back to the ECU's BKOMBI - File for "cafd_00000760-007_004_011" not found! [C012] DSC - File for "cafd_000019cc-100_136_010" not found! [C012] ICM - File for "cafd_0000067b-002_016_001" not found! [C012] Hu - Didn't get any errors. My hardware aren't any diffrent from April 2020 nothing has been changed. Could anyone explain what im doing wrong og help me out, coding my tpms on again? |

On one instance, the RDC ECU disappeared from the ISTA after a short drive but re-appeared after I reset the RDC antenna by removing the fuse. I removed the 2VB option in VO coding and reverted to RPA system for the time-being. If anything needs to be done then I can retry on the weekend. |

But something is wrong, i get an error when resetting the tpms. What would happen if i reset the ECU's HU_Entry, ICM, Bkombi and dsc? Will it go back to factory or back to when the cars ecu's where updated? Could it possibly effect the tune? I Made a backup svt. but the backup was before updating the psdzdata can i use it or will something be missing? Also made a FA backup, but this was also before the psdzdata update. I want to go back and have amother try VO voding the 2VB into the ecu's. Whats the easiest way to do it for me? |

Finally got RDC to work on my 2011 f20.
Control unit 6876227 / Sensors 6856227 I had all the same issues as others (missing cafd, no rdci or safety options in dsc etc) and it still didn't work. Had control ecu working with car (after injecting cafd) but sensors wouldn't work with it. I purchased Chinese wheel sensors originally and turns out this is the problem. I fitted 2x BMW OEM sensors and left 2x Chinese sensors on the back wheels. After resetting in idrive everything worked including the Chinese sensors. (Will fit the other 2x OEM sensors tomorrow as the Chinese ones do take about 2sec longer to show changes in readings) So it turns out the Chinese sensors cannot initiate communication with the control ecu 6876227 but OEM ones can. In the past I had tried to reset ecu and sensors through ista+ but nothing had worked so OEM sensors are definitely different to aftermarket ones. At a guess after coding the ecu to your car it requires some sort of encrypted handshake from the sensors which aftermarket ones do not do. This handshake only happens once so that would explain why aftermarket sensors work for people with winter wheels or replacing dead OEM sensors. Last edited by ditto675; 02-14-2021 at 12:50 AM.. |

The FA is always the same. And then code the FEM too. So code the FEM, ICM, HU, DSC, Kombi. |
