Did I just blow my turbo???

I have a 340i with a catless downpipe and a BM3 stg2 tune. I did some aggressive driving, some donuts, then stopped turned the car off and came back after 20 min. When i turned it on smoke was pouring out the exhaust and out from under the hood. I looked it was coming directly from where the turbo is. There was also a weird loud screeching sound when i started it. I appreciate any help.

You're going to need some sort of video, pictures, etc if you expect people to help you with that question.

Smoke, screeching could be many things.

Loud screeching sounds like compressor wheel scraping the walls, aka blown turbo. Did you let the car cool down before turning it off? Or just shut it off right after hammering it?

Shut it off but I thought there was a dedicated turbo cooling pump that runs after shut off

After OP said aggressive driving and donuts do you really expect him to let the car cool off

time for vargas or pure800 replacement, i think pure turbos will take a blown one for a core too.

The video didn't have any screeching in it so can't tell. You need to look closer into the engine bay to see where that smoke is coming from. Since it is also coming out of the exhaust I doubt it is as simple as a eater pump leak. Does it smell like oil or coolant?

So it smelled like burning oil, it actually stopped smoking from the exhaust all together and is running fine. Go figure. I took it to a shop here in Miami just now.

Could be a VC gasket leak onto the turbo or PCV related oil vapor getting back into the intake for the smoke out the exhaust then.

OP, I would highly recommend letting the turbo cool down for 30 seconds or more, especially if driven hard. Best thing to do is drive it lightly for a bit so it's getting cool fresh air, then let it idle for a bit so the turbo doesn't cook.

The shop said that it could be the PCV from the valve cover to the turbo

Okay cool. I was asking because I was going to recommend a shop for you… but it's in Deerfield so that might be a little too far for ya. All good! Hope everything works out with the car!
