Have you ever been judged poorly as a BMW owner?

Lol all the time. You wouldn't know it from looking at me while sitting in the car but I drive my f32 with hand controls and I use a wheel chair. I, a clean cut 32 year old male pull up into the handicap spot with this shiney bmw coupe and get looks like look at that douchey bmw owner. I have people judge me so hard, and it only gets worse as I put the handicap placard up. Then I start pulling my wheelchair out and putting it together and people realize they judged me prematurely. Sometimes it's fantastically hilarious, other times it's a bit annoying.

I actually try to hustle the chair together quick before people go away because I'm scared people will key my car before they see I actually need the spot.

Never been judged poorly just because I drive a BMW. The majority could lease a BMW imo.

Wouldn't it be just easier for your to get those specialized plates or you don't want 'em ?

p.s. you can completely finish 'em off with a pirate flag

I like having the pass to take it out and use it in other peoples cars if need be. It isn't so much the distance to the front of the store, it's the room I need to get out, so it's nice being able to move it if I need to
