Rear suspension damage

Was taking an exit and slid out on black ice and hit my rear wheel against a curb going around 30. Does anyone know how bad the damage could be? it’s a 2015 330i with 40k miles

That does not look good. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire rear suspension on that side needs to be replaced.

You would need to put it on a lift to get a better idea.

Impossible to say. There are too many factors.

It needs to be recovered to a professional 'shop for a full inspection and repair.

Given that the suspension has collapsed I'd say that it's a given that at least one control arm has bent/snapped. You should also check the wheel hub carrier, damper, subframe, wheel, tyre, and the suspension components on the right rear.

Check item #4. It’s likely severely bent. It holds the spring up.

Remote diagnostics are what they are ...

Please tow (flatbed) your car to a reputable shop and ask them to perform a thorough inspection.

You won’t know until they tear into it, but you might have gotten lucky by only hitting the wheel and not the quarter panel or any of the body, I had the same thing happen in my old e39 but I hit one of those concrete barriers on the wheel and the panel and that crunched the unibody- much easier to replace subframe or suspension components than the unibody, but no way to tell until it’s on a lift and torn into

Possible rear diff damage and driver side axle as well. Hopefully no rear subframe damage. Oh and don't forget possible wheel bearing damage as well.
