looking to upgrade my intercooler for the wagner, I am running bm3 stg2

there are like 4 options
evo 1
evo 2
comp1
comp2

which one would be ideal to get?

Comp 2 especially if you plan to later go big turbo.

yea im FBO

I do plan to go pure turbo dont know when but one day

no track or anything like that just daily driver car

If you're just daily driving I'd get the EVO 2 Perf over the Comp. The lighter weight of the Comp won't benefit you, and the larger heatsink effect of the Perf might keep temps lower overall.

Evo 2 Performance for street. Evo 2 Competition on the track. It's the way the handle heat soak differently. On the track you'll have more back to back runs so you need something that responds quick.

On the street it's usually only 1 pull or so.

You still won't go wrong with either one on the street! Perf or Comp. I like Comp because it is lighter and for me bottom line is when I go big more efficient turbo either one is going to still be just as good on the street. I still like the weight savings and the fact that the comp is better for road racing.

+1 most prefer the comp due to lightweight and lower pressure drop
The competition series is more popular for us than performance

From the photos it looks like the performance uses two separate cores stacked on each other that must be where the extra weight comes from? I saw two bar plates with no fins between them at the step. Also looks like the Evo 2 of both comp and performance are a bit taller?
