ECS Tuning Coilovers

Team, ECS Tuning has a huge sale on their house branded xdrive coilovers right now. Anybody have any experience with these?

Can't speak for f3x platforms, but I've installed a set on a VW, and found them to be about what you'd expect for the money. Function fine, but the dampers are subpar at best, and the spring rates won't be tailored to your vehicle. I personally would avoid completely if possible. If you just want to 'dump' the car, they'll work, but I know I would be saving further for some b14s.

Edit: I went back and reviewed the f3x ECS coilovers, and it's kind of insane you can get them with both front camber plates and rear pillow ball mounts for $750. Just millway camber plates and rear pillow ball mounts are over a grand alone. Makes me wonder if someone (with more free time than i have) could adapt them with adequate dampers. Also verified spring rates, you'll have substantial pitch in the chassis, and is markedly worse than stock for a 'flat ride' experience.

Front: 447 lbs/in
Rear: 671 lbs/in

im not sure if they shipped any production units out yet, I think these coils just hit the market and looks like the estimated ship dates aren't until almost the new year.

on a side note, i don't get what's the point of making the minimum low a 1.5'' drop... one of the allures of coilovers to me is to be able to dial in the perfect height for your car, and I can't imagine driving my car 1.5'' lower where I live. I already scrape my front lip if I don't take crazy angles on many driveways. KW coils are also similar in that regard but even they I think have a smaller minimum low. I don't trust xdrive cars being dropped that much, and having the axles not explode prematurely.

Yeah I thought the price tag was definitely weird. And I missed the part about the minimum lowering, that’s definitely too low for me as well.

Can anyone weigh in on the ECS Coilovers for a '13 RWD F30 335i? My front shocks/struts are shot, and these prices are looking reasonable for an almost 11yr old car, especially with Black Friday right around the corner. I do have EDC, but will just code the warning light out. Link at exactly what I'm looking at:

I checked their website and don't see a coilover option for our cars at all.

I have 450 lbs front and 900lbs rear with Flatoutracing coilovers and they are comfortable and sporty in a good way for street. I agree the front with 671 rear is too much and wouldn't balance the car. My setup balanced the car like an M3. Maybe I should sell my Flatout racing coilovers .
