Question Will these rear brake sheilds fit 345mm rotors?

Last 7 of VIN: F713031

According to my previous post, forum members said that the shields will need to be replaced, but after inspecting them IRL, they look like the larger rotors might fit.

300mm rotor ^

^ googling these numbers lead to nothing

IIRC you can just trim the outer edge off leaving them flat

They fit bit the fitment around the lip is very tight. Many people simply bend the shield back to whatever point they feel comfortable with due to the fact that replacing them is such a PITA, requiring you to remove the rear emergency drum brakes in order to access the part, you also need to replace the springs according to BMW. I've bent the shield back on my friend's 228i when retrofitting the m sport brakes onto his car and he hasn't had any complaints

Super helpful. Thanks!

I had found this guide but it makes it seem like a PITA:
