I purchased stitched leather covers for the door handles from www.leathersteering.com and they went on pretty easy and look great. Black leather with tri color stitching. It covers over the back of the handle (the sticky rubbery part) and the handle trim piece.

He did not ask how to remove the door panel. In fact, he stated he had ALREADY DONE THAT.

No speculation needed on my part as I read the OPs post.
Front door, right?

You really have a reading comprehension issue. Or worse.

Not hypothetical as you suggest. OP stated that 4 months ago in Post 1.

His question is about door handle removal.

The procedure is the same whether it's for front or rear, F30, F31, or F80.

The directions in text and pics in the link I posted 4 months ago are identical to what you have posted today trying to start a fight.

Try helping out someone with a current issue instead of trying to find an issue that does not exist.

Which makes zero difference in replacement.

What's next? Claiming spark plug in Cylinder 2 is different than Cylinder 5?

Mine's the one that said "front door" just before you clicked on it.

I'm no genius. That's why I bought an F32 with only two doors.
If I tried using the rear door procedure I'd waste the entire afternoon walking around the car trying to find it.

Even the self-proclaimed genius can not identify which procedure is from which link.

Below is a screen dump of the header for the procedure I previously provided a link to.

You can scroll up this thread to find it if you're so inclined.

In the screen dump, you can see I highlighted the technical bits in yellow.

I realize you do not read threads....as @john in va posted same link you did on 1/21/19....over 4 months ago.

But to be clear, the OP did reply.

Who did you actually help today?

Every future reader of this thread who has a desire to learn about this procedure.
Also, those enthusiasts who may not have been sensitive enough to the importance of reading the most current technical bulletins and procedure documents.

And, after all this time, for those still grappling with the concept of front and rear doors, the front door is the one with the lawn chair when you open it.

Presumably people come here for information and paths to solutions.
The best we can do is provide the most precise and correct information possible.
Hopefully that's what most people will remember and find most useful.

This seem to be the easiest/ best solution:

The inside of my door handle (that I grip when opening the door) has been worn down since I bought it (previous owner was disgusting).

I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to replace it.

I don't think I can "restore" it because the top soft layer of the rubber is worn down and putting a new coating would be difficult because of the position.

I've taken off the trim and looked inside and there's a bolt in there, but taking it off doesn't remove the grab handle.

I've looked at lots of guides online and with e9x models it was simple to pull out but this seems more difficult.

Anyone have ideas?

Kies Motorsports sells plastic versions. Here is their DIY video:
