Just installed GTS OLED Style Tail Lights
Wassup y'all. I just had these installed on my 2018 F30 340i. They look beautiful! Night and day difference vs. stock. If you're on the fence, DO IT!

I got mine from VLAND directly. I do not recommend buying it directly from them. Amazon sells the same exact product … for approx $280.

yes, thanks, i browsed on amazon prior to my post and only found $390, that's why i asked you, maybe if it's $290, i jump in right away
how's the installation and the quality of the light? everything is sealed nice? i m worried about buying an aftermarket light, i am thinking of buying the euro m performance light and that's $400 (or vland version for $290) my car is also white, so if i buy the GTS, i m thinking of the smoke version, is yours smoke or red? i can't quite make it from the picture |

Great questions! I had a friend who owns a BMW shop install it for me. He said it was pretty tricky getting everything lined up. I honestly recommend having a professional installer install this unless you're very handy and good with this type of stuff. It even recommends professional installation on the box. It looks great. I really have no complaints. Fitment I would give it a 10/10 for my install. Funny thing- when I pulled up to his shop, he had an M3 with the same exact lights… but whoever installed it ( wasn't my guy) didn't line it up properly. As a result, it's raised on one end. It's doesn't stick out, but when you run your hands across you can easily feel where it's not lined up properly. That would bother the hell outta me bc I'm hella anal with that type of stuff lol. I got the smoked one originally but I returned it and got the red ones. The red ones looks very classy. It looks as if it came with the car. It's the lens is a rad bit darker than stock so it almost looks very lightly smoke but it's not. I'm very happy with the red one. The smoked one on a white car screams aftermarket… wouldn't/doesn't blend well. If you don't mind it looks clearly aftermarket, then it's all good! I wanted a almost stock looking finish if that makes sense. Sorry for this novel but let me know if you have any question. Shawn |

I got the V2. The V2 has 4 blades on the inner lights and the V1 has 5. Also they have a slightly different start up sequence. From what I understand that's the only difference . |

V2 also have the brake light across both the inner and outer lights, where on the V1 it was just the outer part. Was one of the big reasons I choose V2’s and much preferred the light over both inner And outer. The line across the blades give it more of an OEM oled look aswell. Still makes me smile when I unlock |

I did have a question for you- I read somewhere that you can code the lights so it's always on like daytime running lights. Did you code yours? |

. I haven't done so myself as either run mine as auto or don't mind just turning side lights which activates the rears. |

Gents / ladies
Just installed Vland rears on 2015 BMW F30 pre LCI these are the V2's Indicators - brake lights - reversing light - hazards all work. But the animation sequence on start up does not. What have I missed ? Plugs are in pre LCI connector on the VLand. Have I made a mistake or is it a case of returning them. Thanks Tony |

Hi tclm90
Have you been able to find the reason for the animation not functioning? I am on the opposite side, wanting to turn off the start up animation. Got my smoked version installed yesterday. They are good, but IMO red ones will look way better. So thinking about replacing them. Quote:

The start up animation only happens if you leave your lights in auto If you leave it off you won’t have animation on unlock. Definitely think the red version look better on a mineral grey car. |
