My point is whether or not carplay can be unlocked on this unit. I guess, the only way to know is to open up the dashboard and look if it has wlan port and if an antenna is connected, right?

From what I´ve see on YT, it can be unlocked with an FSC code...

That or read ENTRYNAV2 with E-Sys and send me its HWEL.

Yes, assuming you mean unlocked as in CarPlay Enabled, but only so long as it has WLAN Port.

No. And E-Sys is simple as you need only psdzdata Lite and no Launcher to read HWEL. You do need an ENET Cable though.

PSdZData must be >= to last version used to Program car, which i have no way of knowing for your car what that is. That said, 4.37.20 is the last release from 3 weeks ago (not 2020), so it should be fine.

sure, my car was touched and programmed by bmw in june 2022, so well before the release of the version we are talking about. I will give it a shot and report here when done.

Sorry, have to annoy a little more. Downloaded the PSdZData Lite 4.37.20, as discussed. Now need Esys. Find "3.33.0" version. Odd newer versions are there as well, but look strange to me... Will the "3.33.0" version work? Were do I put the PSdZData under ESys folder (do not want to be cheek

E-Sys 3.33.0 is fine. Delete and replace psdzdata folder in c:\data folder with 4.37.20 psdzdata folder.
