Parts for 4 series

So I bought these mirror caps for my F32 420d:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382488582824

When I went to Prestige Customs I was told that they don't fit my car which surprised me as I've seen many people on YouTube fitting these specific mirror caps onto their 4 series. Part of my believes that they turned me away because they couldn't be bothered. I'd like your guys opinion as this is my first time trying to add something to my car and I was really gutted when I was told they're not compatible . What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance, any help's appreciated.

They do fit, whoever advised you is incompetent.

It's very easy to do yourself, type in f30 mirror cap replacement on YouTube.

dodgy description though - you could easily send them back as they are plastic not CF.

I assumed as much. These people, "Prestige Wrap & Customs" have been playing silly buggers for about three days straight with me. First they asked me to come to their shop at 6pm and when I got there they were closing and was told to return the next day. I went the next day and the manager told me they wouldn't be able to do it then because of how busy they are. I told them one of his colleagues instructed me to come that day and he told him off in front of me and basically still told me I won't be able to do it then so he told me to come back the next day. I went back today and evidentially they flat out lied about the parts not fitting. Really disappointing as I live quite far away and was hoping the trips would be worth the end result.

Don't recommend these people at all, hilariously unprofessional.

Yeah got them more for the look. I'd still like to fit them though if they are compatible, if they aren't I'll send them back.

EDIT: Sellers are very reliable/honest from the few experiences I've had with them. They sent me an extra set for free because there was a small discoloration on the inside of the cap which was v nice of them.

There honestly could not be an easier thing to fit, you just pull the old ones off and clip the new ones on!

Now that you guys are all saying it's easy to do yourself I'll do that. Was hesitant because I've never done it before and don't want to risk breaking anything.

Do you also believe they're compatible? Want a few opinions just to be sure xD

Yes they’re definitely made for the 1/2/3/4 series. A plastic tool under one corner of the cap helps to get started so you can get your fingers in.

Same mirrors across all that 1/2/3/4 range.
