Not bad. I wonder if this was the guy in the video.

Pleasently surprised. I impulse bought this due to the insane price. It installed very easily, no modification needed. No leaks and once the car adjusted to it after a few miles the mid range feels greatly improved.

The only issue I ran into was the charge pipes needed a little force to click into place unlike the factory intercooler. But once they are on its a tight connection."

Curious how the IATs will look after a few back-to-back pulls. I'll find out soon since my cheap $200 intercooler comes in today. Will post Datazap logs once I get mine installed.

Just FYI, Gplusmotor is located in Wujiang, Jiangsu, China. So much for "buying American". Or German, for that matter. Interested to see if "you don't get what you don't pay for" holds true or not in this case.

I've had a $200 intercooler I bought off Ebay for ~18 months now. My IATs went from a constant 140ish to a constant 100ish. http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...cooler&page=11

Wow. Great to hear. So this one is two hundo all in...

What is the price of a comparable unit made by a Brand name that we recognize?

May possibly scoop one of these if the savings is considerable. Seems like the quality is at worst case, decent.

Cheapest "name brand" is VRSF at $380, AA $450, ER/Wagner are $700-800

Very interested to hear how you like it. This seems like a no-brainer mod at this price point.

I purchased this intercooler and the box said "conceptual design from Detroit" and the intercooler was shipped from Ohio. I am sure the product itself was made in China but it seems that they have been imported here for US sales.

Check out my thread and review on this intercooler:

There's some in here: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...ht=intercooler

My before logs had IATs peak at ~140, after the change they peaked ~100

That is pretty efficient all temperatures being equal. One thing left to look at is how heat soak effects it but on the surface it looks like a good buy.

I was one of the skeptics in there if you look at my posts. "Show me the logs!" basically. KPeng was the first person to try it and I figured for $200 I would do my own logs. I beat on my car all the time and I haven't really noticed any heat soak and I'm in FL. I'm sure if you're tracking the car or heavy into racing you'd want to get a larger one but for $200 you can't go wrong. Install took less than an hour, everything bolted straight up (ER charged pipe).

Less than an hour... is that working from upstairs or downstairs?

Very close to popping for one of these and a quality charge pipe asap.

On ramps. There's only two bolts once you get the tray off
