Hello,

Recently bought a 2016 428i xdrive gran coupe. My car came with the m sport package and track package. When trying to connect my phone via bluetooth, DINANTRONICS pops up on my phone. Does these mean my car also has a dinan tune? When i google DINANTRONICS it confirms it is the tune. I cant imagine every BMW has DINANTRONICS already programmed right? The dealer did not mention any tunes so I'm not sure. How would I know if it does have a tune? I know about tunes but I've never installed one and am far from an expert, obviously. Can anyone please help or point me to another thread?

Pop the hood and see if it has the dinan tune box.

I had to peel the plastic away but yea it does have a dinan tune installed already. Can i just download the app to access it or do I need to do something special?

The app blows. Only lets me choose bypass and not stage 1. Either way im happy because that's a huge money saver but I guess I have more research to do.
