ECU Recall
Just had to take my 2013 BMW 335i xdrive sedan to the dealer for a ECU reprogramming. Apparently there was a recall. Just wondering if anyone knew what the recall was for. Thanks.

Wonder if that applies to all F30s or just the 335i xDrive? Am expecting a 2014 328d sedan in a couple of weeks.

My 2013 335i was just in for service. They mentioned a recall, but I didn't get any specifics other than a computer update. My sheet references 10061680300 for the ECU reprogram.

With a listed location of Aviano Air Base. 99.99% that is a US spec vehicle.

I was at the dealer here in Belgium (US spec 2013 335xdrive) a couple months ago and they mentioned this update was needed. I haven't been in for initial service yet and probably won't until its that time since I'll lose all the coding I've done.
Chris, did you notice less performance, exhaust burble, etc after the update? |
