I wonder how the results would differ if you drove the same style in eco pro mode vs. comfort vs. sport.

Wanted to see what the difference in MPG was between EcoPro and Comfort/Sport. I drove a full tank like a grandma in EcoPro and a full tank aggressively in Comfort/Sport.

Note: I drive about 50/50 city/highway

Here are my numbers:

EcoPro (Fuelly 27.7mpg)

Comfort/Sport (Fuelly 24.7mpg)

Avg price per gallon $4.00
Avg 12,500 miles per year

EcoPro Yearly Fuel Cost = (12,500/27.7)x$4 = $1805.05
Comfort/Sport Yearly Fuel Cost = (12,500/24.7)x$4 = $2024.29

Difference = $219.24

In conclusion saving $219.24 in a year isn't worth driving like a grandma in EcoPro. Rather drive it like it is supposed to be driven!

I was trying to drive a whole tank in Sport, but couldn't do it. It just feels uncomfortable to drive in sport constantly.

Someone else is more than welcome to try lol.

What do you mean by uncomfortable? Do you have DHP?

Throttle response of sport with 8AT is kind of jerky, it is not easy to start smoothly every time.

I agree with other posters that have turned their backs on EcoPro, but are still curious about the difference between Sport and Comfort...

Is anyone currently gathering data to reach a similar conclusion?
