MY2013 F30 BMW Individual Colour - Smokey Topaz

From the German price list there will be a number of Individual colours available from 07/12 onwards. One of them, Smoke(y) Topaz, doesn't seem to have appeared anywhere in the BMW range before, anyone know wht it looks like & are there any samples around?

I have no idea for real but after looking on Google Images, I have the feeling it will be a gold/brown kind of color.

Well, "Topaz" was a blue colour as seen on the attached E46 picture below. So Smokey Topaz? Darker, greyer blue? Perhaps like Havanna but less goldy?

Looks a lot like Havana. Hmm. Well, Smokey Topaz as a jewelry stone is definitely a dark brown, no blue whatsoever.

Currently I think all gloss Individual colours are of the iridescent type.

It doesn't look all that different from Havana or the other brown/bronze they already have, eh?

The regular metallics aren't iridescent.

Hey, this is really cool! The BMW Individual F30 colors are now functional in the www.bmw.com configurator. Smokey Topaz is actually code X12, not X10. The images below are:

1. Smokey Topaz (X12)

2. Tanzanite Blue (X10)

3. Citrine Black (X02)

4. Moonstone (X04)

Forget about Estoril Blue II. Sign me up for Tanzanite Blue.

Anybody know if U.S.-bound MY2013 will have Tanzanite Blue (X10) and/or Moonstone (X04)?

Those colours look really nice.

I've never really understood the Individual program and a quick google didn't reveal a straightforward explanation. Can you just choose bits from it or is it a package? How much do the invidual colours / the individual package cost?

Moonstone looks nice.

I wonder how it compares to "orion silver".
Orion can't be had with Msport though. Bummer, cause I like that color.

Tanzanite blue would be a cool Msport.

Orion has some brown in it, looks like a really light version of Havana: https://www.google.com/search?sugexp...Ooa29QSRusnNCw

Moonstone is like a funky light gray: https://www.google.com/search?sugexp...CoaI8QTSgrWwCw

How did you navigate through the BMW.com configurator to get to those Individual color options?

After you select as much as you can with the configurator, download the wallpaper (either size) with the arrow button. Here is a direct link to my download:

http://www.bmw.com/imageservice/imag...80&height=1024

Next, I change the browser URL from model=3A51 (RWD 328i European) to my model 3B93 (AWD 335i USA):

http://www.bmw.com/imageservice/imag...80&height=1024

Next, I change the color from B45 Estoril Blue (S0B45) to X10 Tanzanite Blue (S0X10):

http://www.bmw.com/imageservice/imag...80&height=1024

You can add or delete the other option codes as well. To turn the image, just change the angle from 40 (degrees from front) to whatever angle you want to view.
