The problem with £1k car which are on the smallish size and have engines to match. is they are artificially high in price because they appeal to the new drivers for cheaper insurance.

These are my wife's minis, the r52 we have had for nearly 10 years and the f55 just over a year.

I would however say £1000 is not going to buy you a good example, I'm guessing you would be looking a r53 at that price point, my wife also had one those in 2004, look out for the normal bearing, brake pipe and usual old car issues I also look at what tyres they have on them as a indication of the money that may have been spent on it. Check the oil as it's common for these cars to run dry without a warning light making you aware, they tend to get filled up with oil and sold on, I would look for a full service history too as they are not cheap to repair.

The girl had a MINI Clubman, a good car, but if you take it from a car dealership,
would not advise dealers, the salon will deliver the car to you or https://getcarrier.com/blog/ship-car-across-country/ if they are still working or brokers |
