Evolution Raceworks Charge Pipe Installed + pics
Ordered the ER charge pipe from topgearsolutions a few weeks ago and it finally arrived on the 4th. I took the car to the Stance Shop and had it put in. Installation from start to finish was about 40 minutes. Seemed like getting the OEM charge pipe out was the hardest part.
TBH kinda sucks to pay so much for a mod that gives you no gains but you can't fight the inevitable so better safe than sorry. Next up is FMIC, thinking about VRSF because that price is hard to beat. But I've also read about fitment issues when mixing certain brand charge pipes and intercoolers. what FMIC do you guys have paired to your ER CP? |

definitely the downpipe. CEL came on immediately after I installed mine, will have it taken care of when I get my custom tune done after the holidays. |

Charge pipe install isnt that bad even if you dont have a lift. Dont even have to be familiar with the car really, if you're a decent DIY guy. trick is definitely to twist the OEM pipe to get it out instead of just trying to brute force pull.
did DP, CP, and FMIC install in roughly 3 hours and most of that time is spent getting the car up on stands, taking off the shields, and getting the tools out. Just watch a good amount of DIY videos beforehand and its not too bad to do on your own. but 40 mins for a shop is pretty good to not have to worry about doing anything yourself, probably set you back about 100? |

lol fair enough. But yes, it comes out pretty easily once you realize you should just be turning it and find a good angle instead of just pulling or pushing and cussing the entire time as it doesn't move. ya, the shop I go to for anything I don't want to do myself (great group of guys) quoted me roughly 5.5 labor hours for the FMIC, CP, and DP. It's hard for me to pay someone to do something I don't mind trying out myself, but it was tempting since it's so damn cold out. I THOUGHT the DP was going to be by far the hardest and be miserable, but it was surprisingly not bad at all. |

Congrats OP!!
Any fitment issue between ER and VRSF was resolved some time ago. Make sure you get that FMIC before the sale ends OP

I have the ER Competition intercooler installed along with my ER Charge pipe. Swapped them at the same time.
