ACS Springs vs Dinan Springs xDrive

So I've been doing alot of research the past couple days on which springs to get as I have the adaptive suspension, and came across two that I just could not decide on.

For those who has used them or has them, which springs provides more drop and reduces the most body roll? (The Dinan springs comes with bumpstops)

I've heard great things about both, but haven't really seen a comparison on actual drops on the xDrive.

Thanks.

Don't you live in Canada? You get snow up there right?

You will need all the ground clearance you can get xDrive or not.

That seems like a pretty cost effective solution...

Time/labor and alignments 2x a year to switch out springs.

Go for the dinan with the software as well to keep your warranty. ACS in Canada is not supported like in UK. No need to go back to stock height in winters, just know when to drive. X-drive sits way too high.

Finally, an answer actually on topic.

I believe Dinan drops the height 3/4" and ACS 30mm, however, I've seen the front end with ACS actually higher than rear.

I would go with the Dinan springs and software. At least you're getting a matched pair.

335 X drive with Dinan. It's settling in a bit. The rear is settled but front seems too high still. Hopefully it will settle in.

Old thread revival alert: did the front ever settle down? I've heard mixed reviews about both sets (Dinan vs ACS). We're all after a drop that evens out the front and rear wheel well gaps, but it's hard to find a consensus about which one does it better.

Pretty sure he ended up getting rid of the Dinan springs for coilovers...so I’m guessing it didn’t.

Basically the Dinans (and maybe ACS too?) on Xdrive have reverse take. My RWD on Dinan doesn’t though..

What do yo mean reverse take? I was looking into getting the Dinan springs and bump stops for my F36 xdrive this year to fix that hideous wheel gap.

Also, what's your opinion on the ride quality? That's something I don't want to sacrifice too much.

Reverse rake is when the rear sits lower than the front. It's called "reverse" rake because many prefer a traditional rake where it's the opposite and the front sits slightly lower than rear.

As for ride quality the Dinans are a great compromise between paying $1k+ for coilovers and H&Rs which give a great stance but apparently sacrifice rideability more than the Dinans, and I believe even more on XDrive.

At first the ride is identical to stock, but after a month or 2 in on the Dinans on M Sport struts and would say the ride quality is now a little bit rougher than stock but not enough to bother me. I much prefer the lower stance and improved handling, but if you're expecting zero change in smoothness over bumps you'll be disappointed.
