I've done a headlight swap on my previous F30 with my dad, but I just wanted to skip the legwork this time around and have a professional do it for me. Looks like I won't be getting off that easy!

Did you just use the depos as is with the super white halogen? If so how is the lighting. Good enough where you won’t have to mess with installing HIDs by cutting the back open?

Hi guys,
So, i had DEPOs for more than a year now and they have been really great, no problems, i even got my cut off line like OEM xenons. But there's a thing, a inner (high beam) light, can you turn it off? I mean, if we have a bi-xenon shutter why do we need that inner part? I realized that when the low beam is turned off, when i flash during the day, only that inner (high beam) part flashes and really poorly and yellowish, but still i can hear the shutter snaping in the projector but low beam light is not working. So, my question is, did someone managed to bypass that inner part, so that when we flash, the outer projector part flashes, not regular inner reflector? Thanks anyone who has the answer! |

Hesitant to buy these because of beam pattern issues people r mentioning. Is this very noticeable on the road ? Or is it just when up against a fixed wall?
Any guidance is appreciated ! |

I have set of OEM Xenons, complete with Ballasts that are in excellent condition that I am selling. NOTHING beats OEM! PM if interested.

Hi f30 Post, this is my first post, and I am looking for either OEM Xenon or DEPO plug and play to replace my Halogen system that is hard to drive in the dark.
My wheels are a f30, 2014 328d (diesel) drive. I am located in Long Island, NY. Thank all of you. santi328d |

I have had my Depos in for a few months now and love them. In my opinion a necessary upgrade if you do any long drives at night since the stock system is seriously sub-par.
To those mentioning the error codes, you have to disable the low beam voltage monitoring using a coding app (I have Bimmer Code) if you are running HIDs... I had the same thing going on until I disabled that. It's a no-brainer to put HIDs in, it's not a big deal to get them wired up and they're pretty rock solid now, I never have issues with them. I personally have a set of DDM Tuning 55W 5000K bulbs in there and they're the perfect balance of a slightly more blue/white light without going overboard whatsoever. I feel much more confident driving the car at night.

Has anyone put LEDs in this headlight? Having issues installing them as they won't stay put - is there a special bracket to install them? They are H7 bulbs...

Looks like my left light is "stuck" in the highest position (the adjustment seems like it went off the track). Does anyone know of a method to get it back on the track so I can lower it down? Thanks!

Had my depo lights installed for 2 years now with no issues until last week. My right turn signal went out — I thought the bulb had just died. Waited a week for my new bulbs to arrive and tried installing but they did not fix the error (I tried both bulbs). I also took the plastic bulb holder piece from the left side, which was an oem piece, and tried it on the right side, which also did not fix it. I attempted pulling the prongs out for better contact and it also did not work. Has anyone had this issue and successfully fixed it? I shared some pm’s with someone else who recently experienced the same and he said he couldn’t fix it and had to buy a used light. Open to any suggestions here, thanks

Depo install without errors
Hi guys,
Last week I had my Depo Angel Eye H7 set installed by HL Automotive in Ede. Very professional. Happy to finally get rid of those ugly H7 headlights. Bulbs are Osram Cool Blue Boost H7 5000k. Awesome looks. No errors. |
