Bump. Any sound clips of this at least? Kind of wondering what it sounds like. I wouldn't mind switching to a more "covered" intake like this from my current BMS.

I would have to agree.

The plastic looks cheap and doesn't match the shade/colour of the rest of the engine bay plastics.

It does not have to solve any problem

Its a different look and offers a better sound.

Actually it does, especially since the look is different, but in a negative way. And anyway not seen with a bonnet closed.

Wow skyhigh you really hate intakes for some reason. It's pretty obvious what intakes do. More airflow, quicker spool, increased efficiency, etc.

Not at all. But if something doesn't solve anything..... it is in reality useless.

And I don't mean to be a "hater", but this intake will certainly not win a beauty pageant. So it better has other qualities (that I can't think of, on a stock car). What is that obsession of some to think that a stock car is by design suffocating...

Or let me ask the same question in a different (maybe less offensive to some) way - plenty of air intakes on the market, what makes this one special?

people before you posted how they do not like the intake and i did not reply.
Its their opinion, we offer more than 10 000 products, i dont expect everyone to like all of them (i dont even like all of them )

This is an intake like all the other options and does exactly what all the other intakes do.
They provide better air flow, change the look of stock and add more sound.

I understand you do not like this design, and thats completely fine. But calling a product useless just because you dont like it makes you sound like a hater.

I dont like high kick spoilers, i dont go and tell everyone they are useless. others do like them

Note: You started your post by saying its useless, it does not solve any problem. 99% of aftermarket parts dont solve any problems, people buy them to change the look or sound of their stock car thats all, its a hobby more than anything
