They're more profitable than new car sales, but repairs is the real money maker. They get at least a 40% mark up on the parts, and charge three to five times for labor what they actually pay their mechanics. The reason indy's are so much cheaper is that an indy repair shop doesn't have to support the sales operation.

Definitely have someone do the paint correction then ceramic cost. Cleanup and washing will much easier.
