So,if an hpfp upgrade is installed, and you damn well if someone can run e85 they will, the lpfp immediately then becomes the bottleneck. So I'm saying I think they go together.
If you are going the route of a e85 mix then yes both the HPFP and LPFP are a necessary upgrade. But if you are going straight pump gas then no, only a HPFP will do the trick. Obviously once you start upgrading your fueling system it would only make sense to upgrade the LPFP since the cost is so much lower compared to the current price of a HPFP.

I have access to e85 but have no desire to run a e85 mix, mostly due to the tedious process of having to test ethanol content on a monthly basis. So for me running a straight 93 octane tune with a upgraded HPFP is highly desirable and if my LPFP needs replacing in the future I will do so.

you can get away with smaller percentage mixes of e85 without upgrading the LPFP.

Nice a third company developing one! Sounds like the first to bring it to market. 1500 is better than 2k. I’m very interested. Do they have a link to it?

Nah this info was just chatting with them via there fb page.

It's great for another pump to enter the market however at only slightly less in price I wonder do you still go the xdi pump. It's proven to be a very good solution

Should be getting close to releasing it. Anyone else max out the b58 pump on the n55?

No, but I hear it's quite a bit better than the last b58 pump. I think it's the b58m?

It seems to be the same mounting plate than the B58 pump, so will need to be drilled too.

I wonder how it compares to xdi? Looks like it can be bought new for $1,055 (cheapest I found). Even if its not as good as the xdi, its less than half the price. If it allows the n55 to operate better, this would be interesting.

This is exciting, i am going to order my ps2 this week, so I planned on doing it two stages... turbo, then later hpfp... would love to do it all at once and be done with my build, besides brakes and coilovers.

Options coming soon I hope... or someone tries the part thomas is referring to above ...
just cant see paying 2200 for xdi pump

the only snag other than modifying the flange would be the connector ,
since its rotated like 135° CW compared to the older one , the connector might collide with the intake manifold
