Intermittent Electrical Issues

Hey all, I know this is kinda generic but any help would be greatly appreciated.

My car is acting up, and it seems to be getting worse. I replaced my car battery a couple months ago but I also only drive it maybe 3-4 days a week. Then the rest of the time it's off in the garage.

Issues:
- Backup camera option is grayed out sometimes and won't turn on.
- Heated seats when pressing the button it won't turn on. Sometimes it does but it will turn on to level 3 then get stuck and then eventually turn off.
- Sound won't adjust when using the volume knob. Again will turn up/down intermittently and same for trying to mute. Have to keep pressing the button until it sometimes works/sometimes doesn't.

Retrofits:
Backup Camera
Auto High Beams
Rear PDC
CIC->NBT
Touch Controller

I have a 2013 BMW F30 335i xDrive

Thanks in advance! And I can post a video if that helps.

I think you still have an issue with the battery.

Is the replacement the same type as the old one?

Was it coded to the car?

The dealership replaced it, I believe they matched it but not sure if they coded it to the car or not.

Do you know what I need to check to see if it's coded to the car? I have access to the coding software.

It's not coded, it's registered. Not the same thing. Your iDrive might have a record of it. An OBD diagnostic tool might be able to tell as well, especially if it's one that has the ability to register batteries. If it was me I'd be using my OBD diagnostic to find fault codes.

I can give that a shot. I wouldn't think it would throw codes but I havent tried so 😋

Unhappy

With all the sensors on an F30 anything that could possibly happen will throw a code. If you fart it will throw a code for that.

Okay I tested reading the car but I don't see anything throwing. My backup camera isn't even coming on now and when I use E-Sys to try and read the TRSVC module it's giving me an error:

Should I just check all my wires connections? So far they look fine...

I can't read your screen shot, but TRSVC is for surround cameras. Different model years have different configurations. My rear camera is controlled via the REM, along with the PDC.

If I pull in my original FA/SVT all my ECUs are Red.
If I try to write the SVT. It says, "The following ECUs have a wrong bus ID:
TRSVC, TBX, ZBE3, HU_NBT"

I don't understand why everything is different

I can't help with the E-Sys codes, I've never use it for diagnosis, only for coding. For diagnosis I have a Foxwell NT 510.
