bm3 stage0+ map (aka m2) + JB4

Hello! I'm gonna use m2 map from bm3 for n55 ewg as BEF for jb4!
Has somebody tried it?

I would like to read your opinion about it

most people ditch the jb4 unless they are using it for meth or whatever.

I don't know. I've tested difference only between st1 ron98 and st ron98 (result is here - https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...01&postcount=8)

For m2 map I did 0-100 km/h runs on road:
- bm3 st2 ron 98 agg - 4.77 sec (LOG)
- stage0+ (aka m2) map - 4.89 sec (LOG)

I guess 100-200 difference would be more significant

You don't need JB4.

I only ran M2 map for a short time but never tested it. Another member on the forum posted these results:

*Full Tank of Gas*
4.78s Stock w/ Bolt-Ons
4.49s M2 map w/ Bolt-Ons
(Same Day)
4.3s OTS Map

1/4 mile *full tank*
12.98@100 stock
13.04@106 stock run #2
12.8@107 M2
12.5@111 OTS

I don't understand why people are still trying to make JB4 happen? Like let it go already geezus.

100-200 tests (I did it using dragy, you can find my car in a leaderboard):
- bm3 st2 ron 98 agg - 0-100 4.77 sec (LOG) 100-200 - 12.27sec (not agg, just st2 ron98)
- stage0+ (aka m2) map - 0-100 4.89 sec (LOG) 100-200 - 12.45sec

In logs you can see difference how these maps works. I'm not pro, but I decided that m2 map is more safe with close to st2 ron98 map result.
And thought it could be good idea use this map as backend flash for jb4 ( of course jb4 fans gave me this idea )

Because I already have jb4 and this experiment has zero cost for me I'm going to try

Somewhat off-topic but noticed you got a custom tune on 91. I'm in CA so I'm considering the same. Were the gains from the custom tune worth the price?

The JB4 is compatible with any flash map you want to use, and BMS also publishes their own flash maps for use with the JB4.

First step is to post a log on map0 with the flash map so we can look at the tuning details of the car and see where more power can be safely made.
