PSA: bootmod3 licenses can only be transferred once. Once it is purchased second hand, it belongs to that customer/car forever.

If he bought it new, then it can be sold. But remember that the license costs $600 regular price and can be had for a bit over $500 on eBay with a 15% code. I'm not sure if most people would want to pay $400 for a one-time use code when they could pay $500-$600 for something they can resell for $300 when they're done with it or transfer to another car.

$350 is a fair number for a used license and thats what Im willing to pay. PayPal friends and family, of course.

The market determines the fair price.

Not you.

Exactly. Thats why $350 is the going rate for a used license.

Except none have sold at that price.

If they had, you would have purchased one.

Brand new they are $530 and that means you can resell at a later date. Yes, BRAND NEW for $530.

I missed one of FB for $350. Honest to god. Not saying $375 would be a ripoff but I think $400 is steep for a used license.

You can always buy a MHD.

Again, the market isn't saying $350.

I won't pay for it $400. Maybe $300 and the seller has to be close by....so transfer to my car first then I hand the money out. 😉

This is pretty funny. I deal with this kind of mentality with some home buyers, and all I can say to myself is think positive thoughts while they want to look at properties outside of their budget. Sigh...

For $325, I’m sure you did.

There have been 3 sets of 666m sold on F80 classifieds for under $2,000. One even went for $1400.

But try and buy a set (or even offer that) to any of the sets for sale now and see where it gets you.

Great analogy.

You obviously know nothing about valuation. If you did, you would understand that $350 is a fair price for a used license.

Ever think the buyers you deal with are more educated than you and aren't willing to roll over so you can make a commission? Learn to work a little, its not that hard matching buyers with homes.

Haha why so sensitive?

I do just fine, but I appreciate your concern 😂. Just sold a $2.2M condo and got in contract for a property listed @ 980k and locked in @ 900k.

Please tell me more on how I should do my job. I could learn a thing or 2 on how to negotiate that $100.
