DPF Cleaning Additives
Anyone have any experience of using these?
Not for my car but the wife has a Focus tdci which I think could do with "something"... She does quite a few short journeys as she is part time and takes the little'un swimming etc. |

I've used Archoil 6400D-Max and my cautious/cynical ear told me that it made a useful difference in smoothness as the engine consumed the treated tank of fuel.
That said, a DPF usually just needs a decent run/thrash where the engine and DPF can get up to full temperature and has enough time for a full regen.

Yep, double dose for a couple of tanks then just use it at normal dose all the time. Makes a big difference.
You can buy a five litre on eBay for a fraction of the price of lots of little bottles....
