I think the sports speedo looks quite good, I've never had a digital dash before you can turn down the brightness...or I think you can code the Alpina sports display which is green and blue.

440i GC

Hi,

I had exactly the same experience with several dealers offering me 440i Coupes / GC's under this 0% APR deal, only to find when they try to reserve the car from stock at another dealer it's either sold or no longer available.

Either way I found one dealer that was able to secure me a car under this 0% APR offer, not sure how they did it but I'm picking up a 440i GC in SRB, with Ivory leather on Saturday.

M-Sport Plus
Ivory Leather
Reverse Camera
Adaptive Damping
Digital Dash.

List was £50,590 if I recall, £987.00 deposit and £425 a month which matches the payments I was paying on my May 2015, 428i that I just sold on today :-) for £2.1k above the settlement figure.

So I got back most of the £2.5k I put into the 428i 3.5 years ago, and have a 440i GC for the same monthlies as I pay now.

I'm a happy man, and get to enjoy 6 cylinder power soon hehe !

Sounds like a great deal. What mileage and length of term is that over?

Great colour choice!

The spec is the same as mine as well apart from I got folding mirrors and didn't get the reverse camera.

It's a fantastic colour and I've had so many positive comments from people in car parks, petrol stations and the gym about mine!

And it's an absolutely fantastic engine!

I used an online platform called tootle, you put up all the details of your car and then independent and sometimes BMW dealers can bid on it.

I did it back in Nov, then the 0% car I was going to buy got sold from underneath me, so had to delist it, but I had a guy that offered be £19950 for it in NOV.

When I finally got my new car secured in Dec, I went back to him directly and we negotiated a price outside of tootle as I removed the car from there site after my new deal fell through in Nov.

Either way though you don't pay any fees etc.. you list your car, and what you want for it, lots of pictures and fully honest description are best, and it's the buyer that pays a fee to tootle not you.

Got me £1.6k more than the P/X offer from BMW dealer, so I was very happy :-)

Finally here! Decent journey to collect in the 'stang but the drive back in the 440i was white knuckle stuff even at 50mph due to the weather!

Saying that, it's a lovely place to sit and so so smooth with that engine

Ha no the mustang v8 is my buddy's, he drove me down as I've got a busted knee so it's a bit of a hassle going solo.

Much easier in auto on the way back for me

Looking good buddy! Can't wait to collect mine next weekend. Now you need to get rid of those chrome grilles

How is the exhaust note? It's supposed to be quite a bit more muted apparently due to the new petrol filter on post-July cars. I don't even have the car yet and I'm thinking about mods

Black grilles and spoiler ordered already

I honestly can't comment on the exhaust, because it literally rained like a typhoon for the entire three hours back, so I just had the football on and kept to the slow lane...

... I'd report back tomorrow except its now snowing

Very nice blueislander! I know not everyone's a fan of the Cognac interior but personally I think it looks very good against the Black Sapphire exterior; much nicer than boring "down a coal mine" black leather IMO!
