Curb Rash on my 2018 340i

Hey guys, I'm a new BMW owner and just got into a sticky situation. I misjudged the curb height and rashed my passenger side rear wheel. I'm including pictures. I have the wear and tear lease protection and so I was just planning on keeping the curb rash and return the vehicle as is once the lease is over. Can anyone give me advice if that okay?

Also, I was thinking of just using a clear coat spray to prevent any corrosion. Is that a good idea.

For reference, I have the 397 style wheels with 18 inch tires.

find a local wheel repair shop (maybe even a mobile service) and have them come out and fix your wheel - should be less than $100 and take less than an hour, if they know what they're doing you'll never know the damage was there in the first place. Do this now

When I turned in my 2015 335, every wheel looked like that (or worse) and the inspector didn't care. However if you run those wheels year round the salt is going to get under the clear and cause it to peel.

Yeah I was thinking about using an aftermarket clear coat on the rash portion just to prevent any further corrosion. I drove through a downpour last night, which took off the brake dust and leftover aluminum dust. The result was much smaller than what my initial pictures show. So I'm tempted to just cover it up.

I've used Rimshine in Allston before and had a great experience. Owner is named Shawn. Cost me $125 for about 6" curb rash on one of my wheels that I couldn't stand looking at. They worked pretty quickly in about an hour or two. Walking distance from Regina's so you can grab something to eat in the meantime.
