I like how you can find the positive in a piece of badly dimensioned/designed hardware

The only reason I did find the positive it's because I was able to fix it but I must admit it didn't bring me to think that fuel it should upgrade their hoses if they know of such a issue with their pumps design.

Hi
My hose popped also.
Did you have had any problems after hose upgrade?

The lpfp 535 diy has been a huge pita. First, don't use anything but the corrugated OEM style tube...the hoses all suck. Pop off and wear out. There are also issues with the top hat burn thru a...in addition if any wire comes loose...dead on the streets.

Radium has the only fuel tube that I found to work.

Sorry to revive an old thread (or maybe not.. ), but all these problems seem to surround the Walbro 525? Has anyone tried the Walbro 450 and does it have the same issues?

I caught the below from Alpha Performance fuel tuning guide and it seems the 525 needs special wiring to avoid burning due to high amperage? It doesn't seem worth it for the extra 20L/hr over the Walbro 450?

I'm a newbie to this and just started my research so I could be wrong about EVERYTHING
