Bluetooth?
Hello,
can you please describe your issue in more detail? Stock head unit? MMI box? Did you stream music using bluetooth or phone calls only? When you say you cannot connect, did you try to remove the car as a device in bluetooth and pair again? Have you connected a different device to the car? Have you rebooted or even reset your phone since the issue? Are you able to connect your phone to another bluetooth vehicle or audio device? More DEETS!

iOS 14 added the new updated Privacy section in Settings. You now have to enable Bluetooth BY APP, and Local Network BY APP, etc. I suspect it's likely that...if everything else is the same as before. You can also see the same new BY APP settings switch for Bluetooth (to turn access on) under each individual App's settings.
You should also be able to see your car listed as a Device in the Bluetooth settings (listed as BMW XXXXX, where those are the last 5 digits of your VIN). It shows connection status, and has the 'Forget This Device' option if needed, when you want to re-pair from scratch with your car. |
