How much Vinyl needed for interior trim?
I want to wrap my interior trim with white carbon fiber and was curious if anyone knew the amount needed to do this? and the best vinyl to get?

Nobody here would know since we have no idea how much of the interior you want to wrap.

I wrapped everything with a 2x4 foot piece with plenty left over. This shows most of what I wrapped:
I did the door handles, front and back, as well. I used 3M DiNoc, color Gloss Bubinga. |

And it still is a contradiction in terms. |

I appreciate your small lesson in carbon. Can you answer my original question on how much material would be needed to do the project I'm interested in doing on my car? or you are more interested in stating your point how it contradicts carbon and get more post counts? I just wasn't aware we were having a technicality debate in my OP. |

Anyone who thinks it looks like the real thing doesn't have a sharper eye for detail. So I would never use something to make my car more plastic. |

Why do you don't refer to the DIY section and the referring thread? There are plenty of information of dos and don'ts plus used sizes.

https://www.amazon.com/ABN-Mini-Heat...=ATVPDKIKX0DER Hair dryers are too slow, high temp heat guns are too fast. Set the heat gun on a work bench so you can leave it running. Hold the work piece in one hand, very briefly place it in the hot air stream from the gun, stretch the vinyl in place with the other hand. Stretch small sections at a time. Also key to success is proper prepping. Get a can of this: https://www.amazon.com/3M-Tape-Prime...3Q6QAFD2JFMAQM Call it whatever color you wish, this is DiNoc wrapped: |

I wrapped my interior with DiNoc dry CF. It lasted about 3 months before deciding I didn't like it. It has no true CF texture and everytime I looked at it, it just felt like I had a cheap sticker on everything. Ended up just buying the full dry M Perf CF interior trim set from Schmeidmann. $$$ up front that can mostly be returned via resale when/if I sell the car. To me, the wrapping looked good in pictures, but I just did not like it in person. Plenty of people are more than happy with it and it's cheap enough to "try out". 8sq ft is plenty.

I looked at the gloss Bubinga, but ended up using Rosewood DiNoc. The first piece I wrapped (one of the rear door handles) didn't come out so great and is coming a bit loose around the edges. I will re-do it and will trim to leave more material to wrap around the back but was wondering if the primer woudl also help. |

I brush the primer on, using plumber's acid brushes, which are very inexpensive. You don't reposition wrap. Apply it starting in the center of the work piece, then heat and stretch it over the edges in one shot. Be sure to prime the back side of the piece, failure to do that can result in it peeling. Cut the vinyl large enough to have at least a half inch of overlap to the back of the piece, trim it as much as necessary afterwards.
