I would never use a Magic Eraser on paint. Even the SONAX Dirt Eraser is not meant for paint. From their site: Fine-pored special sponge for removing stubborn dirt deposits from plastic components in car interiors (e.g. scuff marks, shoe polish etc.). Eradicates wax and polish deposits from unpainted exterior plastic components (bumpers, styling strips etc.) and rubber.

I read of owners using these on leather interior & steering wheels. Please don't - they remove the surface layer of leather along with dirt, body oil, etc.

Start with the least abrasive product & move up if necessary, then move back to a finer polish to finish.

I've used it countless times over the years and it works fine...it's less abrasive than some rubbing compounds too. Buff it out afterwards and you'll never know it was there.

To each their own.

Variable speed polisher, Canadian Tire has one on sale now for 89. Get the first stage cutting compound.

Watch a few videos on how to cut and buff a car.

You'll be amazed how much better your entire car will look if you do the whole thing and it should take all that paint transfer off.

I知 in the same predicament, but it痴 my rear bumper (Alpine white as well). Body shops are going to want to replace the whole plastic bumper piece ($$) then completely paint it ($$$$). I知 thinking of trying a colored wax.

I think the only paint transfer is that blue paint, maybe I should try magic eraser? I couldn't polish that blue paint.
Thanks again
U need to sand these scratches first using 1500, 2000 and 2500 grits. In most cases the scratches will disappear by 90%!

Good luck
