Hoping you can help with a wheel setup question.

I currently have a F30 pre-lci 335d xdrive. I frequently do reasonably long trips and therefore having a suitable spare wheel backup is important.

Historically on my e92 i ran a full spare wheel along with the usual puncture foam as a additional backup.

I was about to purchase another front wheel 403m for my f30 - i.e. running a 8J ET36. If i suffer a puncture on the front no issues. If i get a puncture on the rear through the 8J ET 36 on until i can get to a garage.

However I've read contradicting information online - will an 8J ET36 on the rear screw the xdrive? Will it damage the axel as other places I've read? Will it definitely fit as again I've seen places suggest it wont fit over the brakes (as i have M sport).

Please can you guys confirm as I'm struggling to get an exact answer from what I've read on the various forums.

19x8 +36 with 225/40/19 will work as a spare on any corner
