Can confirm shifts quicker and tighter for sure on our engine. Experience is overall pretty positive.
That being said, I had 3 occurrences with WOT on highway where the car would jerk/judder pretty violently at high RPM. It eventually triggered an MIL light. I reflashed to stock, then flashed again then reset adaptations. Knock on wood, so far so good after that. I did send a support ticket with a log to PTF to see if there any underlying issues. If anyone else got similar experience pls share. |

So how does bm3 affect day to day driving? Is there just more power available everywhere? What about the different driving modes? How are they affected? I'm thinking the powerband is just increase everywhere with less lag.

Only got a little bit of driving in yesterday but shifts feel smoother and tighter. But I didn't get too much driving in. Might be able to get out tonight to warm the car and trans up fully and do some pulls, but not sure if I'll have time yet tonight.

In Comfort Mode in "D" feels normal to me , stop and go shouldn't be any issue as far as i can tell. This isn't an aggressive TCU Flash, more of a clean up to smooth things out. Hope that helps from my look on it.

I've never used one. I don't think it's neccesary, but it's good to have just in case.

You don't really need any supporting mods for stage 1. A charge pipe and a high flow air filter will get you going in the right way thought.

And no, stage 1 is definitely not a waste It's a great bump in power over stock.

Also running stock CP - stage 2 since March, flashed prob 10 times no battery charger. Upgraded fmic and dp. Upgraded suspension made a big difference as well.

My thoughts on the trans flash for those curious: definitely a marked improvement in shift speed and crispness. Downshift rev matches are also legitimate rev matches now, far better than before. The downshifts sound just as clean as a well-executed MT rev match.
Also, manual mode is actually manual mode now. I did a first gear pull in M1, expecting it to shift at the top of the gear like usual, and it did not. It let me rev it all the way out until I let off. Kind of scared me, so just a heads up

Hello folks.
Running Bootmod3 stage 1, 91 octane tune. I just moved back to east coast and now have access to 93.... Will I experience any issues running 93 with 91 tune? Eventually... I will buy the map pack and reflash to 93 but thats a couple weeks out yet. |

Pretty minimal. The 93 tune is just a few more pounds of boost and maybe a few extra degrees of timing over the 91 tune. Maybe 10-20 whp? Just a guess...

Hi guys, I want to ask this question here first if someone has done it.. before sending email to PTF.
Has anyone tried to use enet cable to cellphone USB with adaptor? Does it work with the bm3 app? I don't like getting that wifi agent. I like hardwire |

Anyone else having odd issues with the iOS app? I flashed for the first time last night and took it for a spin and seemed good. Came back later and the app which keeps you auto logged in now says I don’t have a license. Had to log out then back in to get that reset. After doing a couple data logs I went to use the share link button and instead of giving me a link it loads the graph with a download csv button but doesn’t provide a URL to share or ability to get out of that screen. I have to close the app and go back in. Running version 0.10.074
