Rear sway bar
Hey all!
Interested in opinions on adding a rear sway bar when you don’t have a lsd? I have the H&R front and rear kit. Front is installed with camber plates. Rear is fairly standard. Running 200TW tyres and predominantly do circuit driving or hillclimbs. I like a pointy car, and don’t mind if the rear slips, as long as it’s predictable. Have heard the rear sway bar without an lsd will actually slow you down, interested in peoples experiences. |

Went to the local hillclimb today. My first run caused a lot of worry as the car had a lot of understeer on corner entry and oversteer on exit.
I removed two clicks of bump adjustment in the front shocks and the car was brilliant! Super neutral and quick! For now I am not going to bother putting the rear sway in as I am happy with the car as is at the moment |

I have upgraded both my front and rear sway bars (Dinan's). Softened the front as I had too much understeer, rear is full on. I would probably do the opposite if I were you, stock front and upgraded rear.
Just my opinion

Are you running a square tyre setup?
With my current setup i have the front sway installed and stock rear. based on this the car was having understeer on corner entry and oversteer on exit. I softened the front dampers a bit and that actually neutralised the car and now it turns in pretty crisp and i can manage the oversteer on exit with the throttle |
