M Performance Limited Slip differential - Auto and manual parts compared

In for one too. I'll be installing it in my 6sp manual 335i. Won't notice the slightly taller gear and it will help the gas mileage on the freeway. 😎

I dont believe so but verify with your shop or dealership first. I know someone who just ordered the auto LSD for their auto F30 xdrive after clearing it with their local dealership.

I would say confirm your car specifically first though.

This won't work in manual cars. Auto has different axles. My car build date is 10/2012 if it helps research.

So, long story short everyone is buying the auto 3.15 LSD's and installing them into their 6MT cars? If this works I will definitely be buying one for my self.

Doesn't work. neonnblack has confirmed it. The axles are different.

Yes i had it in the shop and they confirmed the axles won't fit.

Breaking my heart man.. of course I hope there is a way to make it work or your car is the exception, but your experience is probably the default.

Figure my 2014 (build 12/13) F32 probably is the same.
